Inside Jennifer Lopez's 50th birthday bash - Page Six

Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 50th with about 200 of her closest friends and family at Gloria and Emilio Estefan’s Miami estate on Star Island.

“It was a sit-down dinner with a caviar bar and buffet in a tent. Guests arrived at 7 and JLo and A-Rod arrived around 9:30. Everyone screamed for her when she was saying hello. She was extremely happy, greeting everyone. It wasn’t an invite the world kind of party, she knew everyone there,” a guest told Page Six.

Rodriguez, 43, made a toast before the dinner and thanked everyone for coming.

“He thanked the Estefans and told JLo how much he loved her and also talked about riding on the tour bus. He said it didn’t sound fun at first, but the intimacy of the family has meant a lot to him,” a source said.

After dinner, guests sat around the dance floor for performances from her dancers, background singers, and daughter Emme, who sang Diana Ross’s “Theme from Mahogany.”

DJ Cassidy then led everyone to the water to a fireworks show and then spun classic New York hip hop.

“JLo did not leave the floor,” another guest said.

Fat Joe, Ashanti and DJ Khaled also performed and we’re told JLo was “rapping every word.”

“It was a very late. She danced until like 2 a.m. It was very impressive. I don’t know many people who could party like and then turn around and have to perform shows the next night,” the first guest said.

Ryan Seacrest and L.A. Reid were also there.
