Meghan gave birth to Archie Harrison in early May

Harry and Meghan definitely had a whirlwind relationship, though it doesn’t seem to have affected the love they have for one another. The two were set up through a mutual friend, and they instantly connected. They began dating in mid-2016, and by November 2017, they had announced their engagement. The wedding was planned in six months’ time, and Meghan and Harry tied the knot in May 2018. There were many rumors the two would want to start having kids right away, and they proved those rumors true. In October 2018, the couple announced a pregnancy — and they welcomed Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor in May 2019.

The couple has tried to keep Archie away from the spotlight

Meghan and Harry decided that they want to keep Archie’s life as private as possible. When he was born, they didn’t stand outside of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital and introduce him the way Prince William and Kate Middleton did. Instead, they introduced him on their own time. Then, they chose to hold his christening in private. And they have hardly been spotted out with him since his birth. William and Kate were always a bit more public with their kids, though they have kept Prince Louis out of the spotlight for the most part, too.

They recently shared several photos and videos of their son in Africa — and fans loved it

Archie has accompanied his parents on their tour of Africa, and while they haven’t brought him to most of their engagements, they did share photos and a video of him meeting Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The two posted a video to their Instagram account showing them walking up to the Archbishop, and the account also posted two photos of the interaction. “What a little legend,” someone wrote. “They’re so beautiful… Such a special moment,” another use commented. “I can’t handle it,” another person added. It’s clear that Archie breaks the Internet whenever photos of him are shared.

Archie seems to bring out the best among royal fans

Meghan and Harry have dealt with a lot of criticism ever since they became an official royal couple. Some think the two are too “Hollywood,” others accused them of not caring about the environment with their private jet scandal, and still many compare them to Prince William and Kate Middleton in a negative way. But Archie seems to bring out the best in royal fans. Whenever photos are posted of the baby, the comments section is filled with love rather than the often controversial comments that can be found on other posts. It’s clear the baby has a positive impact on the couple’s relationship with the public.
