The Battle of Winterfell took out some of the most beloved characters on “Game of Thrones” Season 8, and the survivors are all shook up.
Daenerys may be ready to go in for the kill regarding Cersei, but it won’t be as easy as she thinks as she doesn’t have everyone’s loyalty.
Where do the main families on the show stand? Let’s take a look:
House of Stark: Up
With Arya the reigning champ of the Battle of Winterfell, everyone is wondering whom she will pick off next.
Will she remember how much she hates Cersei or instead forge an alliance with Bran, whom she rescued from the Night King, or Gendry Baratheon, the man who made her a woman?
House of Lannister: Down
Although Jaime survived the Battle of Winterfell, his lack of military might leaves him in a vulnerable position. Tyrion may be able to impress Daenerys as an adviser now that Jorah Mormont is gone, but don’t expect miracles. Cersei is the only member of this family with any real power.
House of Targaryen: Down
The Battle of Winterfell was a sobering experience for Daenerys, who lost her trusted warrior Jorah, the Dothraki army and nearly lost a dragon. Is she smart enough to make the right decisions going forward? She may count on Jon Snow as an ally, but he’s her rival now.
The Night King: Down and out
Obliterated at the Battle of Winterfell, with the White Walkers. Game over here.
